Stop at the 'What would you do?' question and let the child answer first. Resist correcting — curiosity beats conclusions.
Pick one value per week
Open a Values page, read the kid explanation aloud, and run the mini challenge for a few days. Repetition is where character sticks.
Use it at the table
Turn a reflection prompt into a dinner question. Everybody answers, grown-ups included.
Keep wins visible
Note small efforts, not just outcomes. 'You tried again' is the sentence that builds perseverance.
