Why I Created This
A short note about the reason the Guardians exist, and why these seven values are worth a child’s time.

Why I created the Guardians
I wanted children to have something on their side. Not a lecture, not a list of rules — a story world where the brave thing, the honest thing and the kind thing are the things that get celebrated.
Courage, self-belief, connection, boundaries, loyalty, integrity and responsibility are the values I believe carry a child furthest. They are also the hardest ones to teach by simply telling someone about them. Stories do it better, because a child can watch a character feel scared, wobble, and step forward anyway.
So every volume pairs a picture with a short lesson and a question worth talking about. The Guardians stand beside the child rather than above them — protective, playful and never perfect. Effort counts here. Trying again counts here.
Reflection, effort and courage — in that order.

- The Tower That Fell
- The Empty Seat

- Loyalty
- Integrity

Where to start
Begin with Volume One
Courage is the first volume of the growing collection. Picture first, short lesson beneath, one question to talk about.
