Why I created the Guardians
I wanted children to have something on their side. Not a lecture, not a list of rules — a story world where the brave thing, the honest thing and the kind thing are the things that get celebrated.
Courage, self-belief, connection, boundaries, loyalty, integrity and responsibility are the values I believe carry a child furthest. They are also the hardest ones to teach by simply telling someone about them. Stories do it better, because a child can watch a character feel scared, wobble, and step forward anyway.
So every volume pairs a picture with a short lesson and a question worth talking about. The Guardians stand beside the child rather than above them — protective, playful and never perfect. Effort counts here. Trying again counts here.

Small, quick and full of heart. The cub knows what it feels like to be the littlest one in the room, which is exactly why it stays close when a child feels scared.

Warm, bright and endlessly patient. The Phoenix rises again after every hard day, and reminds children that trying again is never starting from nothing.

Steady, watchful and loyal to the bone. The Wolf holds the line kindly, showing children that saying no, keeping a promise and telling the truth are all forms of protection.

How to read these with a child
Read the picture together, pause at the question, and let the child answer first. Praise the attempt rather than the answer — that is where character sticks.

The commercial thinking here is deliberately simple. The core Guardians stories and reflection prompts can stay freely accessible, because reach and trust with families are the real asset. The children's pages stay clean: no third-party display ads, no behavioural ad networks, no pop-ups and nothing that targets children.
Revenue would come from adjacent products rather than from the free lessons: future animated content, books and merchandise, licensing, carefully selected brand partnerships shown only in clearly labelled grown-up or partner areas, and qualified referral traffic into the broader EFAM ecosystem. This is an owned-media approach, not an ad-inventory one.
